For the month of October, our nursery class learned about feelings and family members. The children learned to interpret the feelings of their friends through observing their facial expressions. We also discussed about the members of our families in class.
We practiced counting and identifying numbers 1- 5 this month too. The kids practiced by playing with cubes and number cards. Now, we are moving on to describing the circle and square shapes. The kids observed and described the kinds of lines these shapes have.
They continue to develop their fine motor skills through paper tearing and painting activities for our art and phonics lessons wherein they form the different letters through colouring and tearing papers to form letters.
In P.E. the kids practiced their body coordination and balance through using our balancing beam in the playground as well as doing our weekly exercises.
