Why choose Boracay European International School?
BEIS is the first and only choice for students who want an education offering international standards on the island of Boracay.
We are non-profit and co-educational with a board consisting entirely of parents and ex-parents of students at the school.
We are a small family school originally created by parents on the island who wanted to offer something better for their children and future children choosing the island of Boracay as their home.
We ensure our students develop academically, socially, physically and emotionally to become informed, caring and creative students who contribute to the global community.
We offer small class sizes with a maximum of 15 students per class. In Early Years and lower primary school all classes consist of 1 teacher and 1 assistant teacher which ensures a good student teacher ratio.
Our classrooms are spacious well ventilated and airconditioned.
Our teachers are a mix of international teachers and internationally trained and experienced Filipino teachers.
We follow the US Common Core Standards in Primary school and a modified Cambridge Curriculum in Middle school. Both these programs ensure that our students can easily transfer to other International schools, Filipino schools, or transition back to their home countries educational system after leaving BEIS.
Our Middle School system prepares students for their academic future, including High School, IGCSE and IBO Diploma programme. Once leaving the school at the end of Grade 8 our students usually transfer to other international schools in Manila, or private schools in the Philippines. Others may choose to return to their home countries.
