BEIS Spelling Bee is much more than just memorising of words. It requires students to learn key vocabulary, pronunciation and etymology of a series of unique easy to difficult sight words, for each grade. These they have to master during the academic year.
This trimester (2) Spelling Bee was a great success and BEIS would like to congratulate all the students from Kindergarten 2 up to grade 8 who participated. Well done everybody!
Not only was it a fun way for students to showcase their academic talents, but it was also a chance for the winning students to bag 100 individual house points for their own teams.
The winners are listed below for each grade and the house team they were representing.
